This website highlights selected works of Hudson Valley-based graphic designer,
Gretchen Kraus. Gretchen is currently the design director for The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum. She frequently collaborates with other
clients such as Project for Public Spaces and Olatz and on a freelance basis. She co-founded Space Sisters Press with Emily Devoe in 2018. She studied art and design at Hampshire College (BFA 2003), and has previously worked as a graphic designer at Julian Schnabel’s studio.

Her design and production work while at Julian Schnabel’s studio has been been featured in such publications as The New York Times and Politiken. Text design with artists Suzanne McClelland and Alix Pearlstein has been exhibited at Pierogi and rosyendpost.

She has designed and/or coordinated the release of books and exhibition catalogues with publishers Skira, Thames & Hudson, Karma, Art Gallery of Ontario, Gagosian, Vito Schnabel Gallery, Almine Rech Gallery, Pace, Blum & Poe, and The Brant Art Foundation.
